A XSS vulnerability exists in in React Router's `meta()`/`<Meta>` APIs in [Framework Mode](https://reactrouter.com/start/modes#framework) when generating `script:ld+json` tags which could allow arbitrary JavaScript execution during SSR if untrusted content is used to generate the tag. > [!NOTE] > This does not impact applications using [Declarative Mode](https://reactrouter.com/start/modes#declarative) (`<BrowserRouter>`) or [Data Mode](https://reactrouter.com/start/modes#data) (`createBrowserRouter`/`<RouterProvider>`).
Talos' editor ditches the pressure of traditional New Year’s resolutions in favor of practical, in-the-moment changes, and finds more success by letting go of perfection. Plus, we break down the latest on UAT-7290, a newly disclosed threat actor targeting critical infrastructure.
A China-nexus threat actor known as UAT-7290 has been attributed to espionage-focused intrusions against entities in South Asia and Southeastern Europe. The activity cluster, which has been active since at least 2022, primarily focuses on extensive technical reconnaissance of target organizations before initiating attacks, ultimately leading to the deployment of malware families such as RushDrop
The internet never stays quiet. Every week, new hacks, scams, and security problems show up somewhere. Artificial intelligence (AI) company OpenAI on Wednesday announced the launch of ChatGPT Health, a dedicated space that allows users to have conversations with the chatbot about their health. A flaw was found in Keycloak. The Keycloak Authorization header parser is overly permissive regarding the formatting of the "Bearer" authentication scheme. It accepts non-standard characters (such as tabs) as separators and tolerates case variations that deviate from RFC 6750 specifications.
A command injection vulnerability in the execute_command function of terminal-controller-mcp 0.1.7 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted input.
A flaw was found in the Undertow HTTP server core, which is used in WildFly, JBoss EAP, and other Java applications. The Undertow library fails to properly validate the Host header in incoming HTTP requests. As a result, requests containing malformed or malicious Host headers are processed without rejection, enabling attackers to poison caches, perform internal network scans, or hijack user sessions.
