Russian hackers' adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in cyber attacks against Ukraine has reached a new level in the first half of 2025 (H1 2025), the country's State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection (SSSCIP) said. "Hackers now employ it not only to generate phishing messages, but some of the malware samples we have analyzed show clear signs of being generated
### Summary Unpatched Argo CD versions are vulnerable to malicious API requests which can crash the API server and cause denial of service to legitimate clients. With the default configuration, no `webhook.bitbucketserver.secret` set, Argo CD’s /api/webhook endpoint will crash the entire argocd-server process when it receives a Bitbucket-Server push event whose JSON field `repository.links.clone` is anything other than an array. A single unauthenticated curl request can push the control-plane into CrashLoopBackOff; repeating the request on each replica causes a complete outage of the API. ### Details ```go // webhook.go (Bitbucket-Server branch in affectedRevisionInfo) for _, l := range payload.Repository.Links["clone"].([]any) { // <- unsafe cast link := l.(map[string]any) ... } ``` If links.clone is a string, number, object, or null, the first type assertion panics: interface conversion: interface {} is string, not []interface {} The worker goroutine created by star...
Organizations in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia have emerged as the target of a phishing campaign undertaken by a previously undocumented hacking group called ComicForm since at least April 2025. The activity primarily targeted industrial, financial, tourism, biotechnology, research, and trade sectors, cybersecurity company F6 said in an analysis published last week. The attack chain involves
Researchers spot FileFix phishing sites that deliver StealC Infostealer through fake Facebook warnings and hidden payloads in images.
Cybersecurity researchers have warned of a new campaign that's leveraging a variant of the FileFix social engineering tactic to deliver the StealC information stealer malware. "The observed campaign uses a highly convincing, multilingual phishing site (e.g., fake Facebook Security page), with anti-analysis techniques and advanced obfuscation to evade detection," Acronis security researcher Eliad
Many organizations face challenges in creating value from data while maintaining strict regulatory standards set for handling sensitive data. For these organizations, handling large, complex data sets while maintaining efficiency, security and scalability becomes paramount to their deployment. The collaboration between Red Hat and Cloudera offers customers a solution that helps organizations to manage the complete data lifecycle, putting data to work faster and reducing time to value. With Cloudera Private Cloud on Red Hat OpenShift, organizations get aggregated and visualized data that can he
### Impact A vulnerability has been identified within Fleet where, by default, Fleet will automatically trust a remote server’s certificate when connecting through SSH if the certificate isn’t set in the `known_hosts` file. This could allow the execution of a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack against Fleet. In case the server that is being connected to has a trusted entry in the known_hosts file, then Fleet will correctly check the authenticity of the presented certificate. Please consult the associated [MITRE ATT&CK - Technique - Adversary-in-the-Middle](https://attack.mitre.org/techniques/T1557/) for further information about this category of attack. ### Patches Patched versions include releases `v0.10.12`, `v0.11.7` and `v0.12.2`. The fix involves some key areas with the following changes: - Git latest commit fetcher sources `known_hosts` entries from the following locations, in decreasing order of priority: 1. Secret referenced in a `GitRepo`’s `clientSecretName` field; 2. ...
An extension point in Jenkins allows selectively disabling cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection for specific URLs. Bitbucket Server Integration Plugin implements this extension point to support OAuth 1.0 authentication. In Bitbucket Server Integration Plugin 2.1.0 through 4.1.3 (both inclusive) this implementation is too permissive, allowing attackers to craft URLs that would bypass the CSRF protection of any target URL. Bitbucket Server Integration Plugin 4.1.4 restricts which URLs it disables cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection for to the URLs that needs it.
