CVE-2021-1563: Cisco Security Advisory: Cisco Video Surveillance 7000 Series IP Cameras Cisco Discovery Protocol and Link Layer Discovery Protocol Memory Leak Vulnerabilities

Multiple vulnerabilities in the implementation of the Cisco Discovery Protocol and Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) for Cisco Video Surveillance 7000 Series IP Cameras could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a memory leak, which could lead to a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. These vulnerabilities are due to incorrect processing of certain Cisco Discovery Protocol and LLDP packets at ingress time. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by sending crafted Cisco Discovery Protocol or LLDP packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to continuously consume memory, which could cause the device to crash and reload, resulting in a DoS condition. Note: Cisco Discovery Protocol and LLDP are Layer 2 protocols. To exploit these vulnerabilities, an attacker must be in the same broadcast domain as the affected device (Layer 2 adjacent).

CVE-2021-32457: TALOS-2021-1230 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

Trend Micro Home Network Security version 6.6.604 and earlier is vulnerable to an iotcl stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability which could allow an attacker to issue a specially crafted iotcl to escalate privileges on affected devices. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target device in order to exploit this vulnerability.

CVE-2021-1531: Cisco Security Advisory: Cisco Modeling Labs Web UI Command Injection Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the web UI of Cisco Modeling Labs could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the web application on the underlying operating system of an affected Cisco Modeling Labs server. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input to the web UI. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected server. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the web application, virl2, on the underlying operating system of the affected server. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid user credentials on the web UI.

CVE-2020-28600: TALOS-2020-1224 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the import_stl.cc:import_stl() functionality of Openscad openscad-2020.12-RC2. A specially crafted STL file can lead to code execution. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.

CVE-2020-27229: TALOS-2020-1205 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

A number of exploitable SQL injection vulnerabilities exists in ‘patientslist.do’ page of OpenClinic GA 5.173.3 application. The findPersonID parameter in ‘‘patientslist.do’ page is vulnerable to authenticated SQL injection. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.

CVE-2021-21822: TALOS-2021-1287 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the JavaScript engine of Foxit Software’s PDF Reader, version 10.1.3.37598. A specially crafted PDF document can trigger the reuse of previously free memory, which can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker needs to trick the user into opening a malicious file or site to trigger this vulnerability if the browser plugin extension is enabled.

CVE-2020-13529: TALOS-2020-1142 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

An exploitable denial-of-service vulnerability exists in Systemd 245. A specially crafted DHCP FORCERENEW packet can cause a server running the DHCP client to be vulnerable to a DHCP ACK spoofing attack. An attacker can forge a pair of FORCERENEW and DCHP ACK packets to reconfigure the server.

CVE-2021-1512: Cisco Security Advisory: Cisco SD-WAN Software Arbitrary File Corruption Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco SD-WAN Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to overwrite arbitrary files in the underlying file system of an affected system. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of the user-supplied input parameters of a specific CLI command. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by issuing that command with specific parameters. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to overwrite the content in any arbitrary files that reside on the underlying host file system.

CVE-2021-1486: Cisco Security Advisory: Cisco SD-WAN vManage HTTP Authentication User Enumeration Vulnerability

A vulnerability in Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to enumerate user accounts. This vulnerability is due to the improper handling of HTTP headers. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending authenticated requests to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to compare the HTTP responses that are returned by the affected system to determine which accounts are valid user accounts.

CVE-2021-1284: Cisco Security Advisory: Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software Authentication Bypass Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the web-based messaging service interface of Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to bypass authentication and authorization and modify the configuration of an affected system. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must be able to access an associated Cisco SD-WAN vEdge device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient authorization checks. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests to the web-based messaging service interface of an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain unauthenticated read and write access to the affected vManage system. With this access, the attacker could access information about the affected vManage system, modify the configuration of the system, or make configuration changes to devices that are managed by the system.
