Dell BIOS contains an improper input validation vulnerability. A local authenticated malicious user may potentially exploit this vulnerability by using an SMI to gain arbitrary code execution during SMM.
Dell Support Assist OS Recovery versions before 5.5.2 contain an Authentication Bypass vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with physical access to the system may exploit this vulnerability by bypassing OS Recovery authentication in order to run arbitrary code on the system as Administrator.
Dell OpenManage Enterprise Versions 3.8.3 and prior contain an improper authorization vulnerability. A remote authenticated malicious user with low privileges may potentially exploit this vulnerability to bypass blocked functionalities and perform unauthorized actions.
Dell iDRAC9 versions 5.00.00.00 and later but prior to 5.10.10.00, contain an improper authentication vulnerability. A remote unauthenticated attacker may potentially exploit this vulnerability to gain access to the VNC Console.
This whitepaper demonstrates leveraging cross site scripting and polyglot exploitation in an exploit called COOLHANDLUKE to violate network segmentation / layer 2 VLAN policies while routing and sending a file between isolated, air gapped networks without a router. This issue affects HPE Procurve, Aruba Networks, Cisco, Dell, and Netgear products.
Next I.T. is the sixth and largest acquisition to date for Valeo Networks.
GoCD is a continuous delivery server. GoCD versions 19.11.0 through 21.4.0 (inclusive) are vulnerable to a Document Object Model (DOM)-based cross-site scripting attack via a pipeline run's Stage Details > Graphs tab. It is possible for a malicious script on a attacker-hosted site to execute script that will run within the user's browser context and GoCD session via abuse of a messaging channel used for communication between with the parent page and the stage details graph's iframe. This could allow an attacker to steal a GoCD user's session cookies and/or execute malicious code in the user's context. This issue is fixed in GoCD 22.1.0. There are currently no known workarounds.
In the three months since the war started, Russian operatives and those allied with the nation's interests have unleashed a deluge of disinformation and fake news to try and sow fear and confusion in Ukraine, security vendor says.
The Zoom Client for Meetings (for Android, iOS, Linux, MacOS, and Windows) before version 5.10.0 failed to properly parse XML stanzas in XMPP messages. This can allow a malicious user to break out of the current XMPP message context and create a new message context to have the receiving users client perform a variety of actions. This issue could be used in a more sophisticated attack to forge XMPP messages from the server.
The supply chain for firmware development is vast, convoluted, and growing out of control: patching security vulnerabilities can take up to two years. For cybercriminals, it's a veritable playground.
