CVE-2023-45367: ⚓ T344923 User can store arbitrary number of rows in cu_useragent_clienthints

An issue was discovered in the CheckUser extension for MediaWiki before 1.35.12, 1.36.x through 1.39.x before 1.39.5, and 1.40.x before 1.40.1. A user can use a rest.php/checkuser/v0/useragent-clienthints/revision/ URL to store an arbitrary number of rows in cu_useragent_clienthints, leading to a denial of service.

CVE-2023-45322: Memory error: heap-use-after-free in xmllint (xmlUnlinkNode) (#583) · Issues · GNOME / libxml2 · GitLab

** DISPUTED ** libxml2 through 2.11.5 has a use-after-free that can only occur after a certain memory allocation fails. This occurs in xmlUnlinkNode in tree.c. NOTE: the vendor's position is "I don't think these issues are critical enough to warrant a CVE ID ... because an attacker typically can't control when memory allocations fail."

CVE-2023-39928: TALOS-2023-1831 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the MediaRecorder API of Webkit WebKitGTK 2.40.5. A specially crafted web page can abuse this vulnerability to cause memory corruption and potentially arbitrary code execution. A user would need to to visit a malicious webpage to trigger this vulnerability.

glibc ld.so Local Privilege Escalation

Ubuntu Security Notice USN-6416-2

Ubuntu Security Notice 6416-2 - It was discovered that the IPv6 implementation in the Linux kernel contained a high rate of hash collisions in connection lookup table. A remote attacker could use this to cause a denial of service. Daniël Trujillo, Johannes Wikner, and Kaveh Razavi discovered that some AMD processors utilising speculative execution and branch prediction may allow unauthorised memory reads via a speculative side-channel attack. A local attacker could use this to expose sensitive information, including kernel memory.
