The SIP ALG implementation on NETGEAR Nighthawk R7000 1.0.9.64_10.2.64 devices allows remote attackers to communicate with arbitrary TCP and UDP services on a victim's intranet machine, if the victim visits an attacker-controlled web site with a modern browser, aka NAT Slipstreaming. This occurs because the ALG takes action based on an IP packet with an initial REGISTER substring in the TCP data, and the correct intranet IP address in the subsequent Via header, without properly considering that connection progress and fragmentation affect the meaning of the packet data.

CVE-2020-9979: About the security content of tvOS 14.0

A trust issue was addressed by removing a legacy API. This issue is fixed in iOS 14.0 and iPadOS 14.0, tvOS 14.0. An attacker may be able to misuse a trust relationship to download malicious content.

An attacker in a privileged network position may be able to execute arbitrary code on a paired device during a debug session over the network.

CVE-2020-9918: About the security content of iOS 13.6 and iPadOS 13.6

An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Catalina 10.15.6, tvOS 13.4.8, watchOS 6.2.8. A remote attacker may be able to cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory.

Security Analysis of CHERI ISA

Is it possible to get to a state where memory safety issues would be deterministically mitigated? Our quest to mitigate memory corruption vulnerabilities led us to examine CHERI (Capability Hardware Enhanced RISC Instructions), which provides memory protection features against many exploited vulnerabilities, or in other words, an architectural solution that breaks exploits.
