GHSA-84jw-g43v-8gjm: DOM Clobbering Gadget found in Rspack's AutoPublicPathRuntimeModule that leads to XSS

Hi, Rspack|Webpack developer team! ## Summary We discovered a DOM Clobbering vulnerability in Webpack’s AutoPublicPathRuntimeModule. The DOM Clobbering gadget in the module can lead to cross-site scripting (XSS) in web pages where scriptless attacker-controlled HTML elements (e.g., an img tag with an unsanitized name attribute) are present. We found the real-world exploitation of this gadget in the Canvas LMS which allows XSS attack happens through an javascript code compiled by Webpack (the vulnerable part is from Webpack). We believe this is a severe issue. If Webpack’s code is not resilient to DOM Clobbering attacks, it could lead to significant security vulnerabilities in any web application using Webpack-compiled code. ## Details ### Backgrounds DOM Clobbering is a type of code-reuse attack where the attacker first embeds a piece of non-script, seemingly benign HTML markups in the webpage (e.g. through a post or comment) and leverages the gadgets (pieces of js code) living in t...

GHSA-xpc5-rr39-v8v2: Mautic has an XSS in contact tracking and page hits report

### Summary Prior to this patch, a stored XSS vulnerability existed in the contact tracking and page hits report. ### Patches Please update to 4.4.13 or 5.1.1 or later. ### Workarounds None ### References https://owasp.org/www-project-top-ten/2017/A7_2017-Cross-Site_Scripting_(XSS) https://owasp.org/www-project-web-security-testing-guide/latest/4-Web_Application_Security_Testing/07-Input_Validation_Testing/02-Testing_for_Stored_Cross_Site_Scripting If you have any questions or comments about this advisory: Email us at [security@mautic.org](mailto:security@mautic.org)

GHSA-73gr-32wg-qhh7: Mautic vulnerable to XSS in contact/company tracking (no authentication)

## Summary Prior to this patch being applied, Mautic's tracking was vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting through the Page URL variable. ## Patches Please update to 4.4.13 or 5.1.1 or later. ## Workarounds None ## References https://owasp.org/www-project-top-ten/2017/A7_2017-Cross-Site_Scripting_(XSS) https://owasp.org/www-project-web-security-testing-guide/latest/4-Web_Application_Security_Testing/07-Input_Validation_Testing/02-Testing_for_Stored_Cross_Site_Scripting If you have any questions or comments about this advisory: Email us at [security@mautic.org](mailto:security@mautic.org)

GHSA-xv68-rrmw-9xwf: Mautic vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) - stored (edit form HTML field)

### Impact With access to edit a Mautic form, the attacker can add Cross-Site Scripting stored in the html filed. This could be used to steal sensitive information from the user's current session. ### Patches Upgrade to 4.4.13 or 5.1.1 or later. ### Workarounds None ### References - https://owasp.org/www-project-top-ten/2017/A7_2017-Cross-Site_Scripting_(XSS) - https://owasp.org/www-project-web-security-testing-guide/latest/4-Web_Application_Security_Testing/07-Input_Validation_Testing/02-Testing_for_Stored_Cross_Site_Scripting If you have any questions or comments about this advisory: Email us at [security@mautic.org](mailto:security@mautic.org)

GHSA-r9cr-qmfw-pmrc: Camaleon CMS vulnerable to stored XSS through user file upload (GHSL-2024-184)

A stored cross-site scripting has been found in the image upload functionality that can be used by normal registered users: It is possible to upload a SVG image containing JavaScript and it's also possible to upload a HTML document when the format parameter is manually changed to [documents](https://github.com/owen2345/camaleon-cms/blob/feccb96e542319ed608acd3a16fa5d92f13ede67/app/uploaders/camaleon_cms_uploader.rb#L105-L106) or a string of an [unsupported format](https://github.com/owen2345/camaleon-cms/blob/feccb96e542319ed608acd3a16fa5d92f13ede67/app/uploaders/camaleon_cms_uploader.rb#L110-L111). If an authenticated user or administrator visits that uploaded image or document malicious JavaScript can be executed on their behalf (e.g. changing or deleting content inside of the CMS.) Proof of concept Login as a normal user (if user signup is enabled). Go to the user's profile. And upload the following profile picture via drag and drop. GHSA-998c-q8hh-h8gv: Concrete CMS stored XSS vulnerability in the "Top Navigator Bar" block

Concrete CMS versions 9.0.0 through 9.3.3 are affected by a stored XSS vulnerability in the "Top Navigator Bar" block. Since the "Top Navigator Bar" output was not sufficiently sanitized, a rogue administrator could add a malicious payload that could be executed when targeted users visited the home page. This does not affect versions below 9.0.0 since they do not have the Top Navigator Bar Block. Thanks, Chu Quoc Khanh for reporting.
