CVE-2023-2512: Buffer under-read in workerd

Prior to version v1.20230419.0, the FormData API implementation was subject to an integer overflow. If a FormData instance contained more than 2^31 elements, the forEach() method could end up reading from the wrong location in memory while iterating over elements. This would most likely lead to a segmentation fault, but could theoretically allow arbitrary undefined behavior. In order for the bug to be exploitable, the process would need to be able to allocate 160GB of RAM. Due to this, the bug was never exploitable on the Cloudflare Workers platform, but could theoretically be exploitable on deployments of workerd running on machines with a huge amount of memory. Moreover, in order to be remotely exploited, an attacker would have to upload a single form-encoded HTTP request of at least tens of gigabytes in size. The application code would then have to use request.formData() to parse the request and formData.forEach() to iterate over this data. Due to these limitations, the exploitati...

Severe Security Flaw Exposes Over a Million WordPress Sites to Hijack

A security vulnerability has been disclosed in the popular WordPress plugin Essential Addons for Elementor that could be potentially exploited to achieve elevated privileges on affected sites. The issue, tracked as CVE-2023-32243, has been addressed by the plugin maintainers in version 5.7.2 that was shipped on May 11, 2023. Essential Addons for Elementor has over one million active

CVE-2023-29808: Companymaps 8.0 Cross Site Scripting ≈ Packet Storm

Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in vogtmh cmaps (companymaps) 8.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code.

CVE-2023-29809: Companymaps 8.0 SQL Injection ≈ Packet Storm

SQL injection vulnerability found in Maximilian Vogt companymaps (cmaps) v.8.0 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted script in the request.

CVE-2020-13378: OS Command Injection in Enterprise loadbalancer VA MAX - v8.3.8 and earlier

Loadbalancer.org Enterprise VA MAX through 8.3.8 has an OS Command Injection vulnerability that allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

CVE-2023-32059: Merge pull request from GHSA-ph9x-4vc9-m39g · vyperlang/vyper@c3e68c3

Vyper is a Pythonic smart contract language for the Ethereum virtual machine. Prior to version 0.3.8, internal calls with default arguments are compiled incorrectly. Depending on the number of arguments provided in the call, the defaults are added not right-to-left, but left-to-right. If the types are incompatible, typechecking is bypassed. The ability to pass kwargs to internal functions is an undocumented feature that is not well known about. The issue is patched in version 0.3.8.

CVE-2023-31146: OOB DynArray access when array is on both LHS and RHS of an assignment

Vyper is a Pythonic smart contract language for the Ethereum virtual machine. Prior to version 0.3.8, during codegen, the length word of a dynarray is written before the data, which can result in out-of-bounds array access in the case where the dynarray is on both the lhs and rhs of an assignment. The issue can cause data corruption across call frames. The expected behavior is to revert due to out-of-bounds array access. Version 0.3.8 contains a patch for this issue.

CVE-2023-32058: Integer overflow for loops of form `for i in range(x, x+N)`

Vyper is a Pythonic smart contract language for the Ethereum virtual machine. Prior to version 0.3.8, due to missing overflow check for loop variables, by assigning the iterator of a loop to a variable, it is possible to overflow the type of the latter. The issue seems to happen only in loops of type `for i in range(a, a + N)` as in loops of type `for i in range(start, stop)` and `for i in range(stop)`, the compiler is able to raise a `TypeMismatch` when trying to overflow the variable. The problem has been patched in version 0.3.8.

CVE-2023-31497: GitHub - 0xInfection/EPScalate: Exploit for elevation of privilege vulnerability in QuickHeal's Seqrite EPS.

Incorrect access control in Quick Heal Technologies Limited Seqrite Endpoint Security (EPS) all versions prior to v8.0 allows attackers to escalate privileges to root via supplying a crafted binary to the target system.

GHSA-36fm-j33w-c25f: Privilege escalation (PR)/RCE from account through class sheet

### Impact It's possible for a user to execute anything with the right of the author of the XWiki.ClassSheet document. **Steps to Reproduce:** 1. Edit your user profile with the object editor and add an object of type `DocumentSheetBinding` with value `Default Class Sheet` 1. Edit your user profile with the wiki editor and add the syntax `{{async}}{{groovy}}println("Hello " + "from groovy!"){{/groovy}}{{/async}}` 1. Click "Save & View" **Expected result:** An error is displayed as the user doesn't have the right to execute the Groovy macro. **Actual result:** The text "Hello from groovy!" is displayed at the top of the document. ### Patches This has been patched in XWiki 15.0-rc-1 and 14.10.4. ### Workarounds There are no known workarounds for it. ### References https://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-20566 https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform/commit/de72760d4a3e1e9be64a10660a0c19e9534e2ec4 ### For more information If you have any questions or comments about this advisory:...
